Toby is a qualified teacher and published novelist with over a decade's experience teaching Maths and English in schools, universities, and one-on-one. He received his first degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and his Masters in Creative Writing from New York University. At school he received top grades in Maths and Further Maths A Level and competed in the Senior Maths Olympiad. He has also worked as an A Level examiner and has accumulated over 4000 hours of tutoring experience.
Steve is a classicist, historian, and educator with over ten years experience leading from inside the examinations industry. He received his first degree in History from the University of Manchester and his Masters in Classics and Ancient History from the University of Bristol, graduating with the highest possible grade. He has two teaching qualifications, including a PGCE in Latin and Classics from the University of Sussex.
David is a writer and educator. He received his first degree in Zoology from Newcastle University and his Masters in Creative Writing from New York University, where he was a WITS fellow and a finalist for the Doctorow prize. He is a qualified ESL teacher and has over a decade’s experience teaching science and writing at NYU, CUNY, and in a private capacity. He is the recipient of the Raymond Carver Short Story Prize, the Psychopomp Short Story Prize, and is a frequent contributor to the literary and political magazine n+1.
